ABSTRACTS

<a href=”http://writteninc.blogspot.com/search/label/Thematic%20Photographic”> Carmi’s Challenge this week is ABSTRACTS</a>

If you go to the link you will see Carmi’s great photo, plus others who have taken up the challenge.

I find that getting in close to things can produce some wonderful abstract patterns.

This is not some dreadful disease, but weathering on an old upturned boat.

Taking things in Black and White can give an abstract air.   This is a close up of some very interesting fungus on a tree trunk.

Reflections make wonderful patterns, which change as wind blows the ripples.

Three great shots, Gilly especially the reflections.

I love that last one, Gilly.

I also went with reflections (but I posted 'em before I say yours...honest! ;-)

The boat bottom is a wonderful abstract, I thought it was a pond with some interesting foam floating on top, and the fungus in black and white was inspired. Nice!

Sometimes I think way to concrete, thank you for the inspiration and ideas of photos I have. Now I can play along :)

Oh yes....I'm really not so much of an abstract fan, but photos like these you posted bring out the beauty that is in abstract photos or artwork...especially the water reflection....so very pretty.
