Its everything SOFT this week
Here are my soft photos - follow the link to see what others have done!
Max, our Cocker Spaniel, is an old softie really. Being a spaniel, his aim in life is to find FOOD! Other dogs run about, play with balls, fetch sticks - not ours. He scouts along the hedge, or edge of the field for anything edible. If you can't eat it, he doesn't want it!
But, like I say, he's definitely a softie!
My other soft photo is a feather. Strong and stiff where it needs to be, but soft and downy at the end. The breast feathers of a bird are the softest things imaginable - but I couldn't find one of those!

We have a cocker spaniel too and I know how soft she is! You can just tell by this picture too, what a sweetie! Your feather is so soft too, and easy on the eyes as well. What is it about feathers that are so peaceful? I have to get working on my post now!
Well I wonder where my comment went? Here it is again. Funny how at least three of us chose dogs as one of our photos to describe softness!
I just notices, you dog is Max too!
My daughter once had a yellow Labrador named Max. She lived for food as well. I see your Max is squinting with one eye just to make sure he is not missing anything. I wasn't allowed to unstuff a feather pillow we have on a spare bed or I would have shown a buch of feathers too.
Max looks very cute.
P.S. You forgot and "o" in your Carmi link...
;-)
I've always had a soft spot for cocker spaniels. My parents never wanted animals in the house, so the first dog I ever really connected with was my aunt and uncle's cocker spaniel. Buffy was such a doll...I did nothing but play with her for every spare minute whenever we visited.
To this day, whenever I see a spaniel, my heart melts a little. I just love their demeanor.
