We had some pretty rough seas as we crossed the Bay of Biscay!
When it did get hot, the main occupation of a great many people seemed to be to kipper themselves! (And I must say we met more than a few who had succeeded in doing this!) Haven't they heard of skin cancer?
Approaching the Rock of Gibraltar in the early dawn was an amazing experience! It wasn't until I saw it standing way above the surrounding land, and dominating the Straits that I realised what an important strategical position it held!

Love the wave pictures, and that one of the Rock is beautiful.
I think I have some Gibraltar shots in wartime among my brother's photos - but none showing lights on the Rock. Love those waves, but not the kippers - I have just had a skin cancer removed from my leg.
Looks like you had a great cruise! Love that 2nd wave snap you took.
WOW - great pics... What was the cruise liners name??
My 'TP', last image is a bit of a stretch, but its close... Mines up as well at AussiePomm - Pelican in-flight
Have a great day!!
I really like the wave shots, and the picture of the Rock - that's somewhere I would like to go. But I'm afraid that the idea of a cruise doesn't appeal at all - and the "kippers" picture sums up why I feel that way!
All such great on the water, with wild, and stunning and romantic too!
Great photos and I love the Rock of Gilbratar at night! Brought back memories.
The Rock of Gibraltar looks great with the lights. ORBS!
