An edible challenge from Carmi this week! Food from the earth - sounds delicious to me, and I had a hard job choosing some photographs, as I always like taking shots of vegetables and fruits whenever I go to a market, either here in the UK or on holiday.
So I came up with these four - lovely familiar vegetables I can find any day, in season, of course.
Cauliflower
Sprouts ready for Christmas, sold on the stem.
Radishes - these were in Norway, but look just the same as ours!
And carrots - how could we manage without them in the winter?
Go to the link above to see what others have found ready for a fine dinner, and please leave a comment if you visit me - I do love to get them!

I've got radishes and carrots, too!
I used to get those Brussels sprout on the stem from the Union Square greenmarket in Manhattan. I don't run across them around here in Ohio. Keeps them much tastier, I think.

Fresh produce, especially Brussels sprouts on a stem, is the best. Thanks for sharing.
All delicious earthy selections, and your captures are just perfect!
What gorgeous colours! Love brussel sprouts, they only come out around Christmas time here! And Gilly those tomatoes are not from my garden, I am far from having a green thumb! It was a huge field of tomatoes somewhere in France.
Now you have me wondering what is Nye Norsk for radish.
P.S. That's an Irish Wolfhound puppy, Gilly. One of five....more pics to come!
