Cotoneaster berries on a self-seeded bush down the end of our garden. Very welcome to stay!
The Chinese Rowan tree I found in our garden as a tiny seedling, which, with a bit of TLC has grown very big and beautiful. The yellow tree in the background is a silver birch.

Ah yes, I agree about it being a favorite season, there are so many wonderful tastes that arrive during autumn too. Hooray for pumpkins, and soups and lattes! Beautiful views into your autumn days Gilly!

I love your first photo. Nice contrast of colors. :)
I love Autumn, too. Summer is great, but eventually you want that first frost to knock down the gnats and mosquitoes, and to enjoy the colors.

We have a self-seeded cotoneaster too. The bees love the flowers and the blackbirds the berries. Great close-up shot.
