WHITES

Carmi's Photographic challenge this week is WHITE.

Now there are lots of different whites ......

There is whiter than white, as in soapsuds. This is a black and white photo, which is why the water looks grey!

There is snow white.....

And there is frozen white, as in these two moorhens having to hoof it across the frozen lake.

Then there is dew white - heavy dew outlined the leaves and buds on this plant. Five minutes later, the sun had dissolved it all.

There is daisy white

And lastly, against the light white!

Have a good week!

Wow. That top one is really unusual.
I like the second one as well.

I never would have thought of taking that first picture of yours, very creative! Like the birds on the beach too.

Gilly you always take such amazing photos. For some reason snow didn’t leap to mind with this theme - probably as I don’t get to see it very often :) The birds on snow is my favourite, but the first flower shot is a close second.

The snow and the frozen white are the ones I like. I've lots of snow scenes but didn't think of them.

A superb series, Gilly. That's a very clever shot with the soapsuds - and I love the birds, and the frosty plant, and - just great shots!
